Hi all, I know this must be a pain in the arse but here's just a couple of questions for all the non-newbies out there: 1) Does anyone know where I can find English Software/Manuals to download for the RIS1.5? My son and I are just getting started wtih the Invention System 1.5 and are wondering if there is a version of a line following program included anyplace. We have the ROBOLAB software for Mac. If you are thinking about the Sony Mavica, consider the Olympus C3000/C3030, incredibly good image quality, 3.3 Megapixel images, 16 or so possible quality settings, I use the HQ setting and a 64MB smartmedia card to get over 80 shots before I need (...) ummm, the Mars Exploration Expansion Pack doesn't come with a camera at all... from what i have heard it pretty much sucks. just a few parts that are cool and the longest wires you canget that is all. m. | | MacNQC and RCX Troubles

I just got RIS1.0 and can't seem to get the RCX to respond using MacNQC or RCX Command Center running under Virtual PC 3.0. My cabling seems ok (using Palm 3 mac serial port adapter) as the green light on the IR tower comes on whenever I send a (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Hi Robert, I think that ROBOLAB only is running with PowerPC macs. If you want to realise Lego robots with an older mac you have to do this with NQC. NQC is fat and runs with both PowerPC and 68000 macs. Ralf (25 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)
