I just purchased ROBOLAB from Pitsco/Dacta. It appears to run on a
PowerPC only. I've seen Lego robot demos that go way back. Is there
a non PowerPC version of ROBOLAB?

| (...) Hi Robert, I think that ROBOLAB only is running with PowerPC macs. If you want to realise Lego robots with an older mac you have to do this with NQC. NQC is fat and runs with both PowerPC and 68000 macs. Ralf (24 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

| Short answer: no. Long answer: The demos you are thinking of were for the LEGO Dacta Serial Interface Box (Interface B) or earlier. There is a ROBOLAB-like non-PowerPC interface called LEGO Engineer for that old hardware. I can't remember why (...) (24 years ago, 6-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)
