  Re: Armed RCXs

(...) I built a multi-shooter. I just used a cam to hit each of the triggers in turn. (...) I wondered whether you could tie a light string to the back of the dart (after it's loaded into the projector) - and then reel in the string after the dart (...)   Re: Armed RCXs

The MindStorms Mall Tour had a "shooter" robot that used the Vision Command system to track a target (another robot). When on target, a gatlin gun made of these projecters would start spinning and shoot a few darts. I think it was five projecters (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Armed RCXs

I noticed that the lugnet shop-at-home specials this week includes 8268 at $5. This is a deal because the service pack that contained the projectile projector (?) alone used to cost that much and they have been discontinued, so for all you designers (...)   Re: Moving up in the world...

(...) That reminds me, the tech museum (in San Jose) is doing a contest where you build a robot which goes up a small wall which is curved at the bottom. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything on it at their poorly-designed website, (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Moving up in the world...

(...) At the Mindstorms Mall Tour 2000 they showed off a robot which climbs up and down a wall. The wall has to be built for the purpose, with holes at a certain spacing. The robot can be done with the parts in one RIS box, although there was one (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Vision Command - limitation breaktrough

Hi all, the Vision Command ActiveX does now have it's own section on my website. With this ActiveX you are able to "control" the Vision Command from within VB or other ActiveX-enabled languages. Go get it at (URL) the "vcs activex" section ... Enjoy (...) (25 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.robotics)
