Hello everybody, I want to build a compass sensor. I already have an electric diagram for the sensor itself, but there are some problems. I have already studied the Light sensor diagram at Mr. Gasperi's website, but I don't quite how the sensor (...) (25 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Compass sensor

I am currently working on a Vector interface for the RCX. Th compass module itself is rather large, I have had to make a 5 x 5 x 3high "brick" to house it and the interface. This is bigger than the Dinsmore compass and interface "brick" but I'm (...) (25 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Actually - placing a gyroscope inside two gimbals (structure which pivots in a single plane) with a couple rotation sensors will provide the needed information. It would use two inputs - perhaps a drawback. Another alternative would be to (...) (25 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)
