Ok so today I just tried again (did nothing differently) and it all worked fine - cool! Connected PC to NXT, then ran the test prog from Eclipse and I was driving the NXT around the floor 5 seconds later. I suspect my problem was something to do (...) (19 years ago, 19-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

I installed them by following the instructions in the readme.txt. (importing the blocks, etc) I'm pretty sure it was 1.02. I was able to resolve the problem by doing a fresh install. Deleting the application folder and the mindstorm files in (...) (19 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

Can you explain how you "installed" them? And, what version of NXT-G did you have? I installed the legacy blocks on my MacBookPro and now whenever I start up NXT-G it crashes saying "The application MINDSTORMS NXT quit unexpectedly". Anyone else with an intel mac have this problem? (...) (19 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

I am a LEGO Robolab Mentor. The PC adminstrator installing Robolab on new Intel-based iMacs is having an issue with version 2.5.4. The main splash screen locks up. Has anyone seen this issue and is there a solution? Is using the 2.9 software the (...) (19 years ago, 17-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi Dick, (...) is SAMBA available when a LEGO firmware is flashed? If you first have to do a long reset to activate SAMBA then that will wipe the first few kilobytes of flash, so the image will be incomplete and useless. (...) I second that. (...) (19 years ago, 15-Nov-06, to lugnet.robotics)
