Ernst! Good to see you're still among us. I'd be happy to post your WORDS and SEE (with appropraite credit) and write up a little tutorial on their usage. You can post them here and also email them to me directly. Cheers, Ralph (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

(...) That suggestion makes no sense at all given what your problem is. The voltage and current to the sensors is regulated by the electronics in the RCX, and is not governed directly by the type of battery that you are using. This would only make (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I actually had this exact problem at the Hobby Show. I was in a hurry and didn't want to think about it (all I was doing was tweaking the light sensor thresh), so I just rebooted every time. | | Ultrasonic Sensor

I hate to see questions go unanswered. Steve H replied to me saying it took him 12 hours under these conditions, and now that I have done it I can say it took my P233 laptop a full 24 hours to install brickOS under Paolo's instructions. I'm also sad (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

(...) I wrote WORDS and SEE and some other useful stuff for pbforth 1.21. SEE is a bit rough, it doesn't handle IF, LOOP etc. very graciously but just dumps out bytes. If the dictionary structure hasn't changed in 2.0 they should still work. If (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

Okay, I'm working on a proc in ASM, and I need help with using MOV to move stuff back and forth between memory and registers. This post is a follow up on earlier post wondering about the sales success (i.e. highest serial number) of Mindstorms. Looking at the various replies, I've derived some data on Mindstorm's limited sales success. The post also contains some (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jan-04, to lugnet.robotics)
