  lego reflectance sensors

Hello, we are using Lego reflectance sensors for an experiment and the HB is showing a rather strange behavior. If we plug a single sensor in the expansion board, it works fine, but when two of them are connected, then none of them work. Even more, (...)   Gyro- advanced biped

Introducing my latest biped, Gyro. Its name comes from its mechanism, which mimics the effect of a gyro stabilization system and keeps the upper torso parallel to the ground while the rest of the walker leans side to side, keeping the center of (...)   8455 Alternate Model - Pneumatic Biped

I finally got some pictures uploaded of my biped made from the 8455 set. This model is built from the parts of one 8455 set. The hoses are not from the set, so your colors may vary. It took quite a while to find geometries that work using the 8455 (...) (22 years ago, 30-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Grand Challenge autonomous navigation contest, 1M prize

I just found this and I thought it was pretty cool. The vehicles being used here are on the scale of things like older SUVs, not LEGO bots... but it's still cool. LA to Vegas over rough terrain, autonomously... winner (of 100ish teams entered) gets (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-03, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.robotics)

  Spybot MessageEvent

I realize that I may be reinventing the wheel with this, but I was not able to find another way of accomplishing the same thing. After setting up a VLLEvent using: #define VLLEvent 1 SetEvent(VLLEvent, VLL(), EVENT_TYPE_VLL_MSG_RECEIVED); then (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-03, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

  BricxCC release 3.3.7.6

I've gone ahead and released a new version of BricxCC. Get it while it's hot! :-) There are a few rough edges in this release, primarily in the pbForth console. Also, the leJOS .hlp file was so large I did not include it in the main installer. The (...) (...) As we discussed in email, it appears to be the firmware downloader causing the problem.
