  Re: Lego Studios

(...) They have the same camera but different software and different parts. For movie making, Studios software provides animation and movie editing. Vision Command software allows animation but not much movie editing. For image processing and (...) (23 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Voltage Sensor

Hello, (...) This is a really interesting idea. Make sure to allow a current of roughly 10% of the Z-Diode's maximum rating, even for the lowest battery voltage you are interested in. Then you will have little effect of the pullup or the variation (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Lego Cam

Has anyone tried to convert the Lego Camera into a wireless cam? It should be possible by using a transmitter/ receiver. I was just wondering if someone had some experiences with this they would like to share. Thanks! James C. Jones Technology (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) I've always wondered about the possibility of a non-steerable drive system powered by one motor output, with a large 'foot' that could descend from the center of the bot to lift the wheels/treads off the ground (pneumatics?) and a third output (...)   How much current from RCX ports

I see around here, people are playing around with diffrent types of things to put on the RCX output port. Like not orginal lights, motors, bells and so on. Some even puts several motors on one port. How much current can you drain from one RCX port? (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Re: Some questions that relate to an idea I am thinking about

I think what you want is a 4-wheel-steering car; or better yet, a tricycle - one motor for drive, one motor for steer. If you don't want to paint your ceiling, stand the RCX up with the IR port to the sky and you're set. 4WS wouldn't be as easy and (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Independant drive to the two treads in the set will work, power one forward and the other backward and you'll spin on the spot - depending on carpet properties! (...)
