  How much current from RCX ports
 
I see around here, people are playing around with diffrent types of things to put on the RCX output port. Like not orginal lights, motors, bells and so on. Some even puts several motors on one port. How much current can you drain from one RCX port? (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

I think what you want is a 4-wheel-steering car; or better yet, a tricycle - one motor for drive, one motor for steer. If you don't want to paint your ceiling, stand the RCX up with the IR port to the sky and you're set. 4WS wouldn't be as easy and (...) (23 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) Independant drive to the two treads in the set will work, power one forward and the other backward and you'll spin on the spot - depending on carpet properties! (...)
