  Re: N. California Sites/Events?

Hi Wayne, I do not know of any events in that area, but I wanted to tell you that I have had great luck with (URL) for misc. pieces. Since you order the parts directly from the individual stores/storeowners, it doesn't really matter where you are (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: GUI for legOS

Is DJGPP easier to use from DOS (Windows)? Can CygWin be executed from a command line? When I set up my PC with LegOS (about a year ago) I installed DJGPP (with the help of a Unix friend), and I've been very happy with it. Recently, I just set-up a (...)   Re: intro and question

(...) There's been enough research to suggest that Forth is an excellent first language that I would disagree. As a second or third language, there's much more to unlearn. -- Matt (23 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: GUI for legOS

Michael, What I am hearing here and have heard in the past, along with my own personal experience, is that developing for legOS under Windows and more specific cygwin can be or is a pretty difficult task. Compounded on top of that is if you have (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  N. California Sites/Events?

Are there any Lego events going on in N. Calif. in the next month? Are there any used part sources in this area? I'd like to pick up some misc. bricks for RIS 2.0. -- Wayne T. Watson (121.015 Deg.   red universal joint

This is totally out of the blue (or the grey, or something like that). Several months ago, there was a discussion in this group about the different types of universal joints LEGO has made. One person claimed to have seen a red universal joint in a (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-02, to lugnet.robotics)
