I can get the makefiles made for the cross compiller. ../binutils-version/configure --target=h8300-hms --disable-nls --prefix=/lego-ms as per Max Bowsher's instructions at (URL) when I do "make" I get lots of errors Then after "make install" I get (...) I have been following the instructions at (URL) have experienced the same issues as you Kingsley. At the end of the binutils/gcc build, I noticed the following error(s): <snip>/libiberty/cho...temp.c:29: stdio.h: No such file or directory (...) Awesome book, got it, read it cover-to-cover. Well written, good projects, very comprehensive. Kinda took the wind out of my sails, really, knowing somebody else had already done so much! I've submited the patches for the swmux and dirpd sensors sold at www.techo-stuff.com. Please send me any comments you have on them as they are to be considered for inclusion in 0.2.7. Hi Jenny and all other Mac users, I 've got no problems with my PowerBook G3/400 and the usb tower running MacNQC 3.0a4. I don't know if anyone must know that my Mac works with MacOS 9.2.2. I'm using an iBook running MacOS 9.1 I've installed MacNQC 3.0a4. It worked fine with a serial tower prior to installing the USB drivers. Hi, you might consider talking english in this list ... (...) It somehow both. It standard, since it's 2400bps 8E1 but it's non standard in the way, that lego uses a 38kHz modulated IR signal to transmit this data. This kind of modulation is usually (...) I've downloaded the VC activeX component from snoozysplace.be.tf, and send an e-mail to Snoozysplace@be.tf for the password, but my 'mail administrator' returns the mail because he can't find this mail-host. Did any of the UK Lugnuts see the piece on LEGO Mindstorms on ITV's Cybernet last night? It was on at around 2.30am and the spot on LEGO was very interesting. Hi, I installed legOS and cygwin a while ago ... OK, it was version 0.2.4 ;-) But what I've done differently is that I didn't took the original gcc-sources from gnu.org, but the sources of the compiler in cygwin. (...) I don't use cygwin but linux. But in this group, several cygwin problems were discussed over the time. One problem seems to be the PATH env. variable for the cygwin bash shell.
