  RL 2.5 and 2.0 incompatibility

A cautionary note for situations where RL 2.5 and 2.0 co-exist as in schools which are in transition to upgrading their software. Be aware that if an RCX has RL 2.5 firmware, programs downloaded from RL 2.0 will only go to slot #3. So additional (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.robolab)

Great reference, thanks Bill. I had forgotten about the Geneva mechanism. Any interest, Steve? If you'd consider filing the teeth off a gear, how about an honest to goodness made to measure couple of Geneva mechanism parts? JB (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: USB Tower Software without RIS2.0 install

The USB tower on my desk has a small tag near the plug which states "Do not plug the USB-tower before the RIS 2.0 CD-rom is installed." And the box arrived with a yellow slip of paper with the same instructions. I do understand the RIS 2.0 SDK (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.robotics)
