Hi! I've read this mailing list homepage, but I can't figure if there any good chances to make my RCX from 1.5 to work directly with the IR dispositive from the laptop. The reason is that my laptop doesn't have a serial port. Lego says IR and (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-02, to lugnet.robotics)

I guess I should check the documentation on sourceforge as well, but I would like to know: What are the design goals for legOS at this point. (...) Actually, gcc 3.0.3-1 is available for the Hitachi. I'm running gcc with the new 2.12 binutils on my SuSE Linux machine without a flaw. I'm interested in helping out with legOS as well. So here's a brief write up of my applicable qualifications. ~7 years of C/C++ programming ~3 years of embeded C programming ~5 years of distributed programming (CORBA, RPC, RMI, homegrown stuff) (...) Well, I am definitely interested in participating! I am actively seeking developer status on sourceforge for the legOS project. Stephen, I am interested in helping out with the legOS project. I can contribute to the development on Windows OS and general project development and assitance. The Robolab-people should revisit their recent InvestigatorPatch.llb (20/03/02). At least for version 2.5.0 the patch does not work directly (PC-version). (...) Hi Jerry, thanks for the encouragement. The book Graphical Programming etc. does not know Robolab at all. It is a perfect introduction to Labview (behind Robolab). The book is expensive.
