hi Peter, Why did you remove the IR diodes ? I think it's not necessary, or am I missing something. It would even be nicer, if also the IR-sensor could be left in place, but I don't know the Lego circuit. Stef Mientki (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

Nice idea Peter !! I'll add it to my collection about the IR port of the RCX. At first I didnt see what your design could mean foe me, but .... This could be an alternative way to add "intelligent" sensors (for example through PIC or some other (...) (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) What I meant when i said "unregulated" was a power supply without a 78xx in it. The power supply that I am using consists of a transformer, rectifier (4 diodes) and a 4700uf cap. This is my dilemma: I work for an organization that encourages schools to teach engineering through the RIS using NQC.
