Hi all there, my son got a RIS2 were the IR Power uses a USB connector. We saw that NQC only supports COMs. Has anybody an idea how to use NQC with USB? Is there possibly any patch or USB Version? Thanks for you help Peter (24 years ago, 26-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi all, Has anyone got RL2.5 working on Win95 OSR1? I just got my copy for Xmas and it crashes after displaying the main menu screen :( Just for fun (haha!) I just got Vision command for christmas. Because I am out of town I tried it on a laptop. The setup required the windows 98 CD. Conrad, hands down, don't hesitate to get a "real" RIS set. Really. You will be disappointed with any other, and you won't be with the RIS. You should be able to find it on sale. I heard of them going for $130 at BestBuy near here, and this was the (...) (24 years ago, 24-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

My son has been saving for an RIS for about 7 months and we decided to put him over the top for Xmas. After I got the thing home, I noticed that the min req said Pentium II/233 Mhz or better. I have only a 1997/8 vintage Dell with 200 MHz Pentium (...) (24 years ago, 24-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

You will have a good time with the Droid Developer. It will give you some experience and help you find out if your really interested in robotics, If you become an addict, you will want the RIS and everything else you can get your hands on.
