 | | Re: IntelliMouse Ripe for Hacking
| I've just got the IntelliMouse Explorer. I had problems at first on my Simpson's mouse mat, but then I tried it straight onto the desk top. It's very good and I have no problems with it at speed. I bought it to play Quake X with, but I haven't had (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
| | | | It works! iMac and RIS
| I've seen a lot of "it *should* work" or "it *might* work" type of postings, but nothing specific indicating that you really can use the Lego Mindstorms RIS on an iMac using Virtual PC. I got it to work, and I thought I ought to post the (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

| Question? When using a motor which will exceed the driver chip max current, will that fry the chip or the handy board? Paul (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
| | | | Homebrew Sensor Workshop Slides
| I converted the 42 Powerpoint slides to HTML and they are now on my page. There is a some loss in this conversion, but I'm just about at the limit of my web page memory and I can't afford to give the images more resolution. Most of the material is (...) | Not bad for an international connection. I'd rate it as "tolerable." I've scanned 3 pages, but the images are crooked on two. I'm going to cut the binding on my Constructopedia, and re-do the scans, then 3-hole punch them (I've got a binder full of (...) (26 years ago, 25-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)
