There is one on in Sydney now, with a lego robot, kinda like a bull-dozer, pushing all the dinner plates off a dinner table. Pretty funny.... I would like to know why the sony ir_data() only display 8 bit number instead of the 12 or 13 bit IR message? Does the number represent data only instead of the address or device? (...) It beeps just before it runs out of juice - sadly my batteries keep running low when the RCX is in off mode. I'm right now working on making a set of dummy batteries/internal 9v AC connection. The bottom end of the RCX would easily allow a (...) (26 years ago, 21-Oct-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I was thinking of using only one at the end (attached to the + where it goes onto the PCB), and running a lead to clip onto the first (attached to the - ). The 4 middle ones can be ignored. Hi, finally my Vector2X works! Just because of the wrong selection of transistor. Guide comes from Tom Brusehaver (1997). Thanks! I know that some of you use pneumatics for yuor robots. How do you do that? I suppose you use a compressor and a motor to change the valve, but that requires two motors and 2 is all that come with the MindStorms. Yes, I can buy more, but I´d like to (...) I have been searching for the answer to this one for a while. My intent is to find a supplier who has small electrically operated (solenoid) valves which can be driven by the RCX output(s).
