  LEGO Writing System Pens

I got my first pen a little over a week ago, and I just received two more today. These pens are neat. The pens come with a bunch of elements which aren't exactly normal LEGO brick size, but do have a stud on top, and fit on top of a stud. They also (...) (24 years ago, 16-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)

  Re: Review: 885 Space Scooter

(...) I just download the instructions, and it is really cute. I guess if it was released today, it would not be well received. I also have no Classic Space, but I wish I had.   Review: 885 Space Scooter

Set Name: Space Scooter Set Number: 885 Year: 1978 Pieces: 19 Minifigs: 1 Theme: LEGOLAND Space I was poking around on the LUGNET Set Database admiring the Classic Space sets that I never had (all of them) and I saw this little thing.   Re: 6776 Ogel Control Center Set Review

(...) Actually I did! I recall that something by Led Zeppelin is supposed to have the words "My Sweet Satan" or something at the end of it. And don't get me started on the amount of Licorice Pizza I am sitting on... -- Hop-Frog ("Paul is buried") (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: 6776 Ogel Control Center Set Review

(...) The comment wasn't directed at you, just... information. I guess you never played your records backwards to hear the evil zombie producing messages that some bands (minions of all things dark that they were) deliberatly encoded into the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: 6776 Ogel Control Center Set Review

(...) Good Lord! That *NEVER* would have occurred to me...! Like, not in a bazillion years. Yeeesh! ...still a very poor choice for the name of the villain. Makes me want to change my grading to a 7 of 10. (...) No comment. =:o| I think I forgot to (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)

6776 Ogel Control Center Set Review

6776 Ogel Control Center Set Reviewed Overall comments in brief: Great set! 8 of 10, I had to mark it down a tad because of juniorization and some design flaws (Hey, stop leading me by the nose with these instructions unless the instructions make (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews)

  Re: UCS X-Wing Review

(...) These pieces are from Scala. They're used as lamp-bases and vases and such. But in the Scala sets, they tend to be in pastel colors, not dark gray. Steve (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars)

Re: Much to my surprise, Racers are kind of cool!!!!!!!! (4567 Surfer)

(...) How the heck did you use the car brick (2x6 with wheels) on a castle? A friend of mine uses the 2x6 bricks as technic skateboards, though that makes the launcher in the middle virtually useless. I found that the little "gargoyles" make good (...) (...) I agree with your general impressions, except that ... (...) ... this is too high a price to pay for 3 (semi)useful pieces and some rubberbands. I don't count the SPUD/POOP chassis or the soft plastic slammer, because I don't feel they are (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2001)

Re: Much to my surprise, Racers are kind of cool!!!!!!!! (4567 Surfer)

We have Surfer and Shredd. I was disappointed that the wheels are fixed, since I wanted to make and all-blue racer. My kids found the "slammer" action to be frustrating. It was too hard to actually launch two cars and hit each other. The driver (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2001)

Much to my surprise, Racers are kind of cool!!!!!!!! (4567 Surfer)

RACERS have LEGO studs on 'em! They have two cool decorated Spaceish elements. The driver is a 2x2 brick and can be used as a little gargoyle. I used the car brick on a Castle tower MOC today, so it is not useless! You just gotta be creative with (...) (24 years ago, 26-Feb-01, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: 8880 Pleasure.....

Indeed, although I've never personally seen one, I'm told by those who should know (race car drivers) that if you crack the transfer case on a number of modern cars, lo and behold, you will find a heavy-duty chain. as evah, John C.   Re: 8880 Pleasure.....

(...) Personally, I think the 8880 and the Technic Space Shuttle are the best two LEGO sets of all time. I built my 8880 over 3 years ago - it's on display in the house to educate all non-Lego visitors and I still can't bear to break it up. Onto the (...)
