Certainly for the size of the set, I think the main model is decent.

Yea, I'm not sure how useful the bottom-dome is to me. I'll probably
find some use for it, but as one of the major pieces, it sure is a
detractor for buying lots of copies of the set.

At least the dragon is green, but jeeze, I don't need more witches. This
minifig is just too common for how difficult it is to use in the numbers
you get.

Some of the best pieces in the set.

At one time I thought I needed more weapons and was buying poleaxes in
auctions. Now I now better, they are just too easy to acquire. I may not
have to have any regular troops armed with spears.
You didn't mention the rigging pieces (which was what actually drove me
to buy multiple copies of the set. The red hinge bricks are also nice.

For my tastes (and note that I'm actually interested in a wide variety
of themes), this set has too many parts which aren't needed in
quantities. To me, a good under $10 set is one that I want to buy 10s
and 20s of for the parts. I already have 10s and 20s of witches, and
certainly don't need 10s and 20s of dragons. I've also found that I've
managed to collect plenty of rigging pieces.
