    review: LEGO '99 —Jonathan Nichol
A little over a year ago, we were all poring over the little 1999 one page mini-catalog (or at least the scans of it Huw had up at his website).         Re: review: LEGO '99 —Hao-yang Wang
On the Technic side, in 1999 we got several nice little sets, among which 8251 is my favorite. To me, both the main model and the alternative model are among the best mini Technic sculptures that Lego has ever made. Altough I like the look of the (...)      (...) Yes, I mean 8253 Fire Helicopter. No, I cannot say I am really having difficulty obtaining it, because so far I have not tried it too hard. (I am not impressed with it that much, either.) It's just that while this set looks interesting on (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.technic)

RE: Help: Re: review: LEGO '99 —Tilman Sporkert
You can always go to (URL) click on "Lookup a set". That brings you to (URL) you can type in the set number. That usually brings up a description of the set that includes the year, parts count, name, and picture. Older sets sometimes include (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)

RE: Help: Re: review: LEGO '99 —Luis Villa
In fact, (at least last time I checked) if you typed in a set number the generic search engine was smart enough to recognize a set number and go directly to a set description (instead of to a post discussing the set.) -Luis (...) ###...### Profanity (...)      (...) 8251 Sonic Cycle: This set lets you build either of the two little yellow motorcycles. My only complaint with this set is that the motorcycles are out of scale with the Technic figures.    (...) (Note, I use the web interface to LUGNET. The following relates to that, not other newsreaders.) For a long time I've wished that set numbers in postings would be clickable. This would be a killer feature! The web display of messages already (...) (25 years ago, 14-Dec-99, to lugnet.robotics)
