Quick Review 1374 Green Goblin, Quick thoughts 7133 Bounty Hunter Pursuit & 7153 Jango Fett's Slave

Quick Review 1374 Green Goblin, Quick thoughts 7133 Bounty Hunter Pursuit & 7153 Jango Fett's Slave I 1374 Green Goblin Studios Spider-Man set Although I was a Spider-Man reader back in the late sixties and moving forward in time, it's been a long (...)   Re: REVIEW: Set 8012 Super Battle Droid

I disagree with the "Excellent" rating. This model is very poorly designed. Major design flaws: -The left arm is connected at the shoulder by...a friction peg! This can't support the weight of the arm extended, and is really sad considering all the (...) (23 years ago, 19-May-02, to lugnet.reviews)

  Reviews of Island Xtreme Stunts

I just received these the other day, so I thought I'd review them. 6740 Xtreme Tower is on back order, so I can't say anything about it yet. The minifigs in this series are nice, we have: Pepper - red torso with a pepperoni pizza, blue arms, yellow (...) (23 years ago, 18-May-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2002)

Re: Sneak Preview of the NEW LEGO® Island Xtreme Stunts!

(...) Jeez, where do you get these names?? And since when can a skateboard race over *dunes*??? hehehehe But all kidding aside, this one should be a hit with kids. Very playable. (...)   Re: Review: 7163 Republic Gunship

(...) I bought this set last night, and trust me, it is much much much cooler during and after it is built. I really enjoyed putting this one together, and it comes with all kinds of neat pieces and movable parts (love those movable rear doors) that (...)   7153 Slave1 Review and Redesign

A buddy of mine, Bob, is a closet LEGO fan that has been kinda collecting Star Wars LEGO. His meek collection has a few Space sets, the Original Classic Trilogy sets and a couple of others. As a result, the newer colours (like Sand Green) are as new (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Galidor @ Zainey Brainy

(...) I guess I never posted when I got one (over a week ago) from S@H. They definitely are rather limited in their LEGOness, but they do use the same new linkage as the new Alpha Team sets (but all the parts are highly sculpted). I purchased (...)   Re: Review: 7163 Republic Gunship

(...) Unfortunately what you see is what you get. It has some strength to it, but I plan to beef it up with some white inverse slopes to the underside...hmm, perhaps even a few guns like you see with the B-Wing, or maybe a concussion missle rack of (...)   Re: Review: 7163 Republic Gunship

Thanks for the review, Dave. I was wondering about this puppy, but ran out of moolah before I could pick it up. The wing assembly looks a little iffy from the pictures, but I'll walk by faith and trust that it's got more bones to its bones than it (...)   Re: Review: 7163 Republic Gunship

(...) What i can't believe is that here in Canada, its only $10 more! USusally its about half again as much. I still don't plan on getting it mind you (just don't like it), but hey its still interesting to note. And why did they have to put the two (...)   Review: 7153 Jango Fett's Slave 1

The Slave 1 we got in 2000 was nice to have, and had some great parts in it, but as a rendition of Boba Fett's spaceship it was a little clunky. This new 2002 rendition blows it away. It looks fantastic. If only the 2000 Slave 1 had looked this (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.reviews)

  Review: 7163 Republic Gunship

Hmm, well. It's a good selection of white parts and some new vaguely-useful dark-red elements, but not much more... There is a good selection of 'figs in this set. The database says 5 but it's effectively seven, if you count the droideka which they (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: Review of 3739: Blacksmith Shop

Re: Review of 3739: Blacksmith Shop

(...) I just got mine yesterday and built it. For a smaller (16 x 16) building with lots of pieces, I am thoroughly impressed with the detail of the design.
