I just happened to land across the LEGO Maniacs' guide ( (URL) ). I hadn't been there for at least a year or even two, which is a long time on internet timeframes... I was surprised to see that the site had some really updated reviews, including a (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.publish)

(...) The grip is in the Studio sets, not the Life on Mars sets.... GDR :-) While it would have been nice if they had come up with some other way to do the Martians, I think they actually look decent. They really don't look that mechanical (any more (...) Here's some notes on the largest (?) LEGO set ever: 3450 Statue of Liberty. Like the 3723 Minifig Sculpture, the 3450 comes in a large white box with a small b&w photo of the statue, a planet earth with basic bricks revolving around it on the front (...) (24 years ago, 30-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews)
