Re: Review of set 4492 Mini Star Destroyer

(...) snip (...) I agree - wot da heck IS that binocular doing there? OFF with the binocular! (Maybe they are special scanners for finding Rebel Blockade Runners...) Found one at Walmart today (woo hoo!), had to get it. Besides not using the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Mini Review: 3535 Skateboard Street Park

3535 Skateboard Street Park A lean set. The majority of parts build a solid picnic table plus ramps: dark gray bricks, 14 light gray 1x8 tiles, some plates, 6 small gray arches, 2 tan baseplates, and 6 red and white 1x1 rounds. Akin but not (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-03, to lugnet.reviews)

Review of set 4492 Mini Star Destroyer

Set: 4492 Mini Star Destroyer Price: $6.99 US Piece count: 86 Age: 7+ Model: The main model is about a perfect as one could hope for in this scale. The only complaint I have is a binocular (NOT Bionicle) piece on the top front of the model. Take (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: 4403 Air Blazers Review

Why hide light under a bushel basket. Crossposted to reviews. (and a well done review it is!) (...) This review needs to be posted to reviews. This text is to defeat the "too much quoted text" check. Repeat as necessary. This review needs to be (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.reviews)

Re: Review: 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina

(...) Upon closer examination, it looks like Greedo's legs and arms are turquiose. (...) The stormptooper also has new colors printed on his helmet. The old troopers had all black printing. The new one has blue lines along the "jaw" part of the (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-03, to lugnet.reviews)

  Thorough set review: 4408 Animals

For a basic set, this one has odd amounts of pieces such as 1 orange 1x1 brick, but the amounts are chosen to build the main Zoo model. Acccents include 2 1x2 lime bricks and 1 2x4 plate in the green tree (new brown trunk) which the orange black and (...)   Brown Shovel

  Review: 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina

I just bought the new 2004 Mos Eisley Cantina today at a Toy R Us. I must say that it seems a little pricey at $30 when it only has 193 pieces, but it's a cool new Star Wars set, so I just had to buy it. First off I should say that this set DOES (...) (21 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.reviews)

Re: 7470 Space Shuttle Discovery Review

Lego has done space shuttles for surprisingly many times. When I was putting up this newly released 7470, I could not help but compare it with that legendary 8480. (You see, even the set numbers share the same pattern. :-) (...) Yeah. It does not (...) (21 years ago, 27-Oct-03, to lugnet.reviews)

  Re: Raves for Lego Basketball

After I read this reviews here I just bought the 3431 Street Ball 2 vs 2, to see if it is really that fun as it seems to be. And I must say, I am not dissapointed. I was quite amazed that my first shot went right through the basket. I was even more (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.sports)

Re: Plane Sailing? (was Re: 10024Red Baron)

(...) But of course that would be a case of using "non" aircraft parts on an aircraft! Having worked on aircraft for 8 years I can tell you that is a little bit of a no-no (only a little bit, as fencing wire 'was' considered ok on early planes, ie (...)   Re: Plane Sailing? (was Re: 10024Red Baron)

(...) Yes, I beliewe the Wright Flyer would have serious difficulties completing your test program. My initial testing sofar has proven very unsuccesfull.   Re: Plane Sailing? (was Re: 10024Red Baron)
