Set: 4492 Mini Star Destroyer
Price: $6.99 US
Piece count: 86
Age: 7+
Model: The main model is about a perfect as one could hope for in this scale.
The only complaint I have is a binocular (NOT Bionicle) piece on the top
front of the model. Take that off and it looks great. This is probably my new
favorite display model Star Wars set.

I agree - wot da heck IS that binocular doing there? OFF with the binocular!
(Maybe they are special scanners for finding Rebel Blockade Runners...)
Found one at Walmart today (woo hoo!), had to get it. Besides not using the
binocular, I found I had to move the 2x2 round plate on the bottom back 1 stud
towards the rear for the model to sit level on a desk. No biggie.
Also, from the box picture I had expected to find white pieces used for the
bridge section. Obviously the lighting used for the picture washed out some of
the colors a bit.
Hmmm, maybe time to think of doing a Super Star Destroyer in this scale...
(Also am seriously thinking of downloading LDRAW/MLCAD on my mothers old AMD-K6
300 Mhz to whip up the LDR file instead of waiting 2 more days until I can
unwrap my new Compaq 2.4 Ghz laptop....)

Ohhh, shiney!
