Ok, I don't know how much AU$250 is but I can recommend the FujiFilm FinePix
f420 for macroshots. It's perhaps a bit expensive but it taks excellent macro
shoots!

Hmm, seems like the f420 is obselete and is replaced by f440..

I got the camera in a computeerdeal from work for at discount price so I could
not choose the camera modell or brand but I fairly pleased with it.

Drawbacks are that it drains batteries in no time, XD-memory card and the on/off
switch is akwardly placed.

I just got AU$250 in birthday money so I am now in a position to buy a usable digital camera (what I have is no good for lego since it doesnt have a macro mode). So, I want to know what camera to buy with my AU$250 (plus some of my own money). Any (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.publish.photography, lugnet.loc.au)
