  Re: Some Questions...

<snip> Well, guess what my dad brought home tonight: (URL) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Some Questions...

(...) It's crucial if you're taking pics of your MOCs. (...) I don't know for sure, but I would expect any camera >1.0Mp would have a macro mode. When I tried out the Canon A20 (2.1Mp) I could only get within about one foot of the subject, WITH (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Some Questions...

(...) How importent is macro? And what is the cheapest camera that has it? What do you think is the 'average' closest focus? (without macro) (...) Well, the sale I have is online. :-/ (...) Argus makes a few digicams. (URL) retail price for the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Some Questions...

(...) I bought my first digital camera in March, and I've never heard of Argus. Kodak made a model called the DC3200, but it was only 1.0 megapixel, and Kodaks don't seem to get the best reviews. This site (that I heard about here on Lugnet) is (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Some Questions...

Can somebody show me an example of a 1.3 megapixel picture? Is 1.3 MP acceptable? Does less resolution = less quality? Does anybody have, or have used an Argus 1.3 megapixel DC3200 digicam? If so, can you review it? Thanks for your time, -JHK (24 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Sony Cyber Shot

(...) Well let me add my "me too!" I picked up the DSC-S75 last month because I wanted a fairly decent camera for under $500. It is totally fun! (And it explains my recent upsurge in image contributions to Bricklink.) But the best thing for me is (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Sony Cyber Shot

Thanks Mark! This Cam has just about every kinda switch, dial, button, rocker switch, knob etc... on every part of the Cam. I always knew modern day cameras were small. But yeish! all the sophistication in such a small package. I would redocument (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: Sony Cyber Shot

(...) COOL!!!! That is one cool camera! My cousin has one of those and it is a very cool camera. I have a Sony DSC-S85 and I love it as well ;) Sony really does make great cameras. So go get some pics and share them with us!! Mark P. (URL) (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Sony Cyber Shot

I just picked up a Sony CyberShot 3.3 Mega pixel Digital Camera with a Carl Ziess Lens. It takes Mpegs too, I'm looking forward to leaning to use it well. So far I am pretty impressed with it. I still have my Sony Mavica 1.3 Mega pixel Camera. I (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Photographing black

Something that may be of interest ... I haven't tried this yet, so caveat photographor. Cover your flash with a kleenex to soften the glare! I saw this tip on a very cool website of some very clever models built by a Japanese AFOL: (URL) website (...) (24 years ago, 21-May-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)
