Hey I went for a Canon G2 after a bit of research, got it about 10 weeks ago. Factors other than lego photography were involved in my choice else i'd probably have picked up one of the Nikon 775s ... as suggested. Thought I'd throw these up to show (...) Between the 2 I see (cute animation by the way) I would say the best thing you could do is to try the contrast at about half of what you have in the second movie. -Jon -- | The Galactic Shipyard - (URL) My Lego Creations - (URL) Attack of the Bricks (...) (...) The first one is the better of the two, and of course, the second one was pretty poor. You should try to do a Lego version of Celebrity Deathmatch! That would be funny! :) Just my two brickz... <<_Matt Hein_>> Lugnet Member No. 1112 (24 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

Here, I've monkeyed around with my Lego cam. I've cranked up the contrast so much that you can see different black bricks, but its very bright. The other is regular light, but you can't tell individual bricks very much. Here are two animations: (...) (24 years ago, 24-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.publish.photography)

I've got a Kodak DC3800, and its colour balance is fantastic. It dosent have an analogue zoom which means its not much use for long shots (I want on holiday to Scotland and had lots of photos of scenery with tiny castles in the middle) but its great (...) I bought a Fuji A201 today - great camera! The macro seems a bit fuzzy, although I've only had a couple of hours to play with it, and I ended up taking photos of my TIE Interceptor using the normal mode, auto flash, normal quality at 2MP, then (...) I'm also buying a digital camera (finally!). I'd like one for general use, as well as taking pics of my MOCs, preferrably for $CDN 500 or less. Print quality is not a priority.
