I'm also buying a digital camera (finally!). I'd like one for general use, as
well as taking pics of my MOCs, preferrably for $CDN 500 or less. Print
quality is not a priority.
Can anyone provide comments on the Sony DSC-P30? It's currently on sale at
the Future Shop for $CDN 300 (after a $50 mail-in rebate). From what I've
read on Lugnet, it's 1.2 mega-pixels and 4mb memory seem a little skimpy, but
it does have the much-heralded macro feature. They also have the Olympus
D-510 for $450, and a Fuji A201 for $350.

| I bought a Fuji A201 today - great camera! The macro seems a bit fuzzy, although I've only had a couple of hours to play with it, and I ended up taking photos of my TIE Interceptor using the normal mode, auto flash, normal quality at 2MP, then (...) (23 years ago, 21-Mar-02, to lugnet.publish.photography, lugnet.general)
