Re: BrickJournal 4: The LCAD Issue

(...) Thanks! It's always fun! And I apologize for the late answer - I was out of country when this post was sent. (...) I agree. However, the access to LEGOFan is something I do not have. I moved the domain over to LUGNET as a result. You also used (...) (18 years ago, 15-Jun-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: BrickJournal 4: The LCAD Issue

(...) Very nice as always! I've discovered it very late because I've always checked <www.brickjournal.org> (the Brickjournal page at <www.legofan.org>) but there the page is not yet updated. The *last* issue is still the issue 2! I don't think it is (...) (18 years ago, 5-Jun-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: BrickJournal 4: The LCAD Issue

(...) Fantastic job, as always! I am consistantly impressed with the professional look and content of BrickJournal. I especially enjoyed the article rendering, I'm definately going to play with that! --Anthony (18 years ago, 26-May-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Sidebar update...

Hi all, I updated the BrickJournal sidebar so all issues available can be downloaded. Also, there are links to webpages devoted to each issue, with article listings. More will be added as more issues are released. Thoughts? Joe Meno ed/pub, (...) (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: lugnet website dead?

(...) He meant the LEGO Fan page:-) - but I have been meaning to get this done...and it's linked to the updated sidebar. Now working on some listings - kinda pointless to have just a blurb on the issues.... Joe (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: lugnet website dead?

(...) Nice page. Now link it from the sidebar of lugnet.publish.brickjournal (which you're the curator of unless I was reading things wrong) and you'll be all set! I think that was what the original poster was asking for. I could be wrong though. (...) (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: lugnet website dead?

(...) Well, I do own the domain. However, the time to maintain a site is not something I can easily give - I have committments to editing and running BrickJournal, running my local club and helping out another club, and now planning BrickFest, not (...)   Re: lugnet website dead?

(...) Why not just register your own domain, and have everyone link to it? At least then you'll be under full control of everything, just whack LEGOFan and lugnet admins to link to you. (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Re: lugnet website dead?

(...) Actually a set of factors have come in that have made things a bit of a challenge in this: 1. The BrickJournal page on LEGOFan.org is not administered by me. As part of LEGOFan.org's website, admin duties are usually handled by the webmaster (...) (19 years ago, 18-Mar-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

  Re: lugnet website dead?

(...) something the curator of the page controls, not LUGNET admins. See (URL) curator is Joe Meno. He may have forgotten to update the page carrying the information. Why not write him about it? Or maybe you're talking about the front page, in that (...) (19 years ago, 18-Mar-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

Re: BrickJournal 3 is REALLY out!

(...) Hi Bill! Yeah, the size got out of hand. One of the problems that BrickJournal has to manage is dealing with time-critical stories. It's already handicapped in that there is only a quarterly schedule for it, which was set up to keep everyone (...) (19 years ago, 23-Feb-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: BrickJournal 3 is REALLY out!

(...) Great work Joe! I finally finished reading it yesterday and can't wait for #4! The writing and in particular the graphic design are excellent. It's truly a professional quality magazine that anyone in the hobby would be proud of. I'm sure if (...) (19 years ago, 22-Feb-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: TLG Board of Directors gives praise to BrickJournal Issue #3

Hats off to you, too, Geoff. For those unaware, Geoff has been a significant driving force in moving the BrickJournal project forward. The team works great together in that when one member is on a down-cycle, other members are up. There's always (...) (19 years ago, 14-Feb-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)

  Some small announcements....and thanks
