This particular lack of update (on the lugnet.publish.brickjournal sidebar) is something the curator of the page controls, not LUGNET admins.

See http://news.lugnet.com/admin/curators/curators.cgi

The curator is Joe Meno. He may have forgotten to update the page carrying the information. Why not write him about it?

Or maybe you’re talking about the front page, in that case ya, write Suz or Todd or whoever. Hope that helps.

Actually a set of factors have come in that have made things a bit of a challenge in this:

1. The BrickJournal page on LEGOFan.org is not administered by me. As part of LEGOFan.org’s website, admin duties are usually handled by the webmaster there. I have sent a request some time ago, but there have been no updates.

2. The BrickJournal sidebar is my responsibility, and I made a link to the BrickJournal page to all issues, with the thought that updates would dealt with there. Since that hasn’t happened, I have been considering reworking the sidebar and perhaps adding a webpage on LUGNET to support BrickJournal. If this happens, I plan to have a bit more substance to the page....oh heck - let’s see what I can come with tonight...

(...) Why not just register your own domain, and have everyone link to it? At least then you'll be under full control of everything, just whack LEGOFan and lugnet admins to link to you. (19 years ago, 19-Mar-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal)
