Lego Performance Art - Stealing the "T" at NELUG Greenburg show

Hello everyone! As many people know, I have a model of Tech Tower from Georgia Tech. One of the cool traditions about Tech Tower is the act of Stealing the "T" from the group of letters on the top of the tower. Many attempts have been made over the (...)   Re: Taz

(...) I thought about administering my own list (which you could do by having an alias for a bunch of addresses) but I chose to use a Yahoo group. It works well enough for what I want it for. See groups.yahoo.com for more info on starting a group. (...) (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.publish, lugnet.market.theory)

Hi Larry, SNIPPY (...) Yep, seen the ILTCO files, I have some on my hard drive too. BTW, would the ILTCO boys be interested in this? (...) Bingo. You hit the nail on the head. In fact it was harder deciding what NOT to include, there's so much to (...) (20 years ago, 11-Dec-04, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Modelling Indian Railways In Lego- A tutorial

(...) I liked it, thanks for sharing. The modeling techniques themselves are fairly basic if you've been following along with all the SNOT presentations and stuff(1) (as archived at the ILTCO.org site, check the library area) but the tie ins to (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Modelling Indian Railways In Lego- A tutorial

Hi, Great work samarth, it's exactly kind of article I like to read (LEGO, trains and building technics). I've immediately made a post about it on FreeLUG mailing list for french non-lugnetters. I've not finished to read it yet, but i'm probably (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.publish)

Modelling Indian Railways In Lego- A tutorial

Hi All, I had briefly mentioned that I had written up a very basic tutorial on modelling Indian Railways in Lego in my first post. Okay, so I think I'd better give some background on this. There are no RTR models or kits made of Indian Trains, (...) (20 years ago, 10-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce, lugnet.publish, lugnet.loc.in) !!

  Re: BrickShelf: Contacting Members

(...) It would be very nice to be able to get in touch with builders that have less than obvious usernames. In the mean time, we do have one source available- (URL) the best but hey, it's something. Adr. (20 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.publish)

(...) I vote YES on this one. Saso (20 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.publish)

  Re: BrickShelf: Contacting Members

(...) I second this desire. There are quite a few members I'd like to get in touch with regards to a community project I've been working on in my spare time. -Orion (20 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.publish)

  BrickShelf: Contacting Members

I'm continually frustrated and dissatisfied at the lack of real names on BrickShelf, even though it was explained retrospectively. It makes it virtually impossible to contact people whose usernames aren't known in the community. It would be great to (...) (20 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.publish) !

Re: How to make brickshelf folders public?

(...) You can also just update the folder description or tags to force re-moderation. You don't even have to change anything, just edit and submit. HTH ROSCO (20 years ago, 4-Oct-04, to lugnet.publish)

Re: How to make brickshelf folders public?

(...) Doubtful, he lets Rob Hendrix's stuff through. :-) I repeat my suggestion, put a new pic in the folder. This marks the folder as needing moderation review again. Failing that, send a note to Kevin directly. (20 years ago, 3-Oct-04, to lugnet.publish)

Re: How to make brickshelf folders public?

(...) Thanks Lar The tips are useful. There are however only 4 pics in there and they are all lego. He may object to my amateur attempts to modify lego bricks with a soldering iron though ;-) Cheers Mick (20 years ago, 3-Oct-04, to lugnet.publish)
