Does anyone know of a good way to compare the speed of website hosts that does not involve pinging? I'm particularly interested in comparing the speeds of: www.bldesign.org (currently hosted by atlnetworks.com) www.scibrick.org (hosted by (...) Has anyone else noticed a tendency on the part of the remaining search engines to simply not accept new listings, or only very slowly over what turns out to be many, many months? Kevin, I have noticed that with the "recent" feature on Brickshelf the time stamp is based on when the images are uploaded, have you put any thought into changing the time stamp to when the images are moderated? I find that I miss some of the cool (...) (21 years ago, 31-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish)

(...) I just fixed several bugs related to this feature. The fix for this specific problem is somewhat ungraceful, it now shows the first 48 files and the first 48 folders, then the next 48 of each and so on. At least there won't be any missing (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish)

Hi Kevin, with the new feature of splitting large galleries into multiple pages of 48 pics, I noticed a little bug today: If the gallery contains subfolders (e.g. 3 folders), the first page shows these 3 folder thumbnails and the first 45 gallery (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish)

(...) Weird - just for kicks I tried zooming WAY in to the image (2000%). The vertical lines aren't actually vertical. I wonder if that was intentional, or 'just happened'... I would guess it's pretty much the original file from which TLC itself prints its own manuals -- I compared it to the available scans on Brickshelf and it looks the same.
