(...) Is it just me, or has Brickshelf been running very smoothly today? Albeit I'm on a T1 line, but over the past few weeks, that sort of thing hasn't been any better than a 24.4 modem when cruising the shelf. Anyone else getting these nice (...) (...) Notepad and FTP ;-) You can't go wrong with that! I've created a template webpage for my site, and I use a FTP address with IE to upload my files. If only there was some way to donate unused bandwidth. I've paid for up to 400MB/day for 2 years on pair and filled about 25 of it on average. I would hate to have a surprise 5GB day to pay for though. Some kind of cgi that would serve only x copies (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

The bandwidth demands for a site with as many pictures as Brickshelf can be pretty impressive for someone who has to pay for bandwidth. As an example, (...) I have all of my Lego content at (URL) which is hosted by DixieSys. I pay a whopping $4/mo for my space/BW. I managed to get in on a 2-for-1 sale, so I have 6Gigs/mo for that $4.
