Unfortunately, there is no option for "takes good closeups." Many (usually cheaper) digital cameras cannot focus any closer than about 2.5-3 feet. I went through the options and it recommended a whole bunch of bargain-basement cameras, but I'll bet (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

The moire is most likely to disappear at 300dpi. If this is on a dedicated scanning computer, I'd be very surprised if it had no provisions for reducing moire. Since disk space isn't a concern, 300dpi will probably do you pretty well. Oh, another (...) (25 years ago, 24-May-00, to lugnet.publish)

Oh sure, because NOBODY in .space or .castle takes pictures of their MOCs, so I'm sure they would be totally uninterested in digital cameras. Actually posting here was -quite- helpful.
