  Three cheers for Joe Meno

A while back, Joe asked me to write an article for the new BrickJournal issue. I know how much time I spent on just this one article. Just try to imagine how much time he spents on bringing all articles together in a more than 100 pages magazine. (...)   Need suggestions for using dinosaur digital camera!

Hey all, I haven't updated my website in over a year for several reasons. The main one being that my digital camera is a dinosaur that has really frustrated me with its inablity to take pictures that I feel are usable. It's an Olympus D-360L from (...)   Re: FTX links (was: Request: 1/19 scale)

(...) For those links to work, you need to set the format to FTX before posting, using the combo list just below the subject. HTH ROSCO (18 years ago, 1-Feb-07, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.publish)

  Re: Some announcements :-)

  Some announcements :-)

Hi all, BrickJournal is progressing toward release of Issue 6. Layouts are being sent to proof now and followups to articles are going from me this week.   Re: The LEGO CD as a book, and other ramblings....

(...) I suggest you inquire at No Starch Press. They have published some AFOL books in recent years. Your CD as a book (even an abbreviated one) would make an awesome addition to their lineup and cross-selling among titles would be highly likely and (...)   Re: Bricking Bavaria wrapup and Billund visit...

(...) The building itself is 4 x 5 feet, so it will be about 20 or so feet x 5, best guess. I was really impressed with the level of detail it has. Joe (18 years ago, 19-Dec-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: Bricking Bavaria wrapup and Billund visit...

I'm sure may of us will have been in the situation where they thought a model was the real thing from the thumbnail. Well, when I saw this full size I still thought it was real, the venue before setup or something! Outstanding. (URL) How big is it (...)   Bricking Bavaria wrapup and Billund visit...

Hi all, I have only recovered from my trip (way too much going on) but wanted to show some pix of some great models at Bricking Bavaria: (URL) The interior (work in progress) of the Frankfurt Train Terminal.   Bricking Bavaria Report: Day 1

Hi all, Through some luck (and some cheap airfare) I decided to go to an overseas convention this year - Bricking Bavaria, to be exact.   Re: BrickJournal 4: The LCAD Issue

  Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

(...) You really need to give your team credit - they sorta took me in on the first day and before I knew it, I was an unofficial team member.   Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

(...) Ralph, Good to hear from you and good idea - I had considered doing that a couple of issue ago, but I really should revisit fire engines and fire stations.   Re: BrickJournal 5 is out!

(...) That's how I found him - I saw his work on Brickshelf and searched around online until I found his account on 1000-steine...but his link was in German. My inquiry, wasn't taken very serioously at that point, so I didn't get a reply. About two (...) (18 years ago, 25-Oct-06, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)
