  Re: PDF Instructions!

(...) Actually, we plan on exporting every page of the pdfs to jpegs, similar to the scans for online viewing. We are still working out the bugs in that process, but I diddn't want that to delay getting the pdf's themselves online. KL (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish)

(...) How about a thumbnail image to go along with the scan? Everything is fine if I'm browsing through LUGNET, but I like to browse the building instructions too. -Duane (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish)

Hi all, Recently I've been churning out a lot of MOCs, and even if a picture says a thousand words, a picture with a caption says even more. Therefore, I've gone up one step and joined MOCpages. All my previous MOCs (except my Alien Probes and (...) (21 years ago, 12-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: What camera do you guys use?

(...) What an odd statement. You know, once a Lego pile reaches a certain size, new Lego is virtually unnoticeable, especially to the untrained eye. winkwink. (...) Why not? ;) That would be an interesting challenge though: build something using (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish.photography, FTX)

Re: What camera do you guys use?

(...) Maybe... :) Really, though, a fun non-Lego macro thing is insect photography, which really needs a GOOD macro. Here's some example that some guy took using the Fuji. (URL) -JHK (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.publish.photography, FTX)

Re: What camera do you guys use?

(...) The Fuji uses 4 AA batteries, so I plan to get (or use my current) rechargable NIMH batteries. It did pretty good on pattery life, too. I believe it lasted over 3 hours, which is very good.
