Hi.
I sincerly would like to report the whole story from japan.
The Coca-cola/Lego collaboration in Japan is thought to be very epock-making.
As Lego never did such a widely spreaded promotion, or having collaboration
with such a common companies in Japan.
Also, those 24 sets are totally FREE opprtunities added one per one bottle.
Maybe you know Kabaya sets sold in Japan but the Kabaya sweets are always
packed with "cheap sweet and pricy opprtunities". for instance, with well
made scale plastic kits. The kabaya/Lego cannot be taken as "free" stuff.
Recently, Lego in Japan is recognized as something sub-culture goodies for
ages around 10 to 20. Japanese girls are fans of cute stuff so the minifigs
just-meet their likes. Many girls hang the minifigs on straps of their
cellular phones.
Ages around 10 to 20 also is a target for Coca-cola Co. so the collaboration
came out. thw sets were packed with 500ml plastic bottles of Coke or diet Coke.
The Lego set opprotunities started about three weeks ago but is nearly
ending as it seems the newest cartons to the supermarkets aren't with the sets.
One carton is packed with 24 bottles so were thought you can get all 24 sets
at one time, but were not. Mostly you could complete, but in some cartons
had more than 4 sets doubled.
Me?
I just bought one by one because I needn't 12 liters of Coke at one time :-)
You cannot see what's in the packs but can guess by feeling the touch of
pieces. I prefered what felt not shaped like minifigs because I don't need
them. Now I got most of the studio items without smallest risk of doubling
