I haven't seen or heard much about the recent Shell promotion -- I thought that perhaps there was a limited supply of sets from the 1999 promotion that had been found. I opened the small sets today and was surprised to find a 2001 catalogue sheet (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.promo, lugnet.town)

Alright, after receiving my QMPO-"BOX" (CD boxes) I've got to tell you - these things ROCK!!! The packing styrofoam is in the shape of a large 1 x1 Brick including stud complete with "Lego" on it! The disclaimer mentions the special permission to (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.promo)

Rich- Where in Brooklyn did you find the gas station with the larger Shell sets? Also, what dollar amount of gas did you have to buy in order to get the sets? That's 1246-1251, the larger sets are 1252-1256 - the same sets released in SoCal last year (that I took a roadtrip from NoCal for JUST to pick a ton up!). I think I'm going to buy a ton IF I can find them locally (they don't seem to like to carry (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jun-01, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.promo, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

While in Brooklyn NY today I found a Shell station that received the promo sets today. This release contains all the large shell sets that were available in the last promotion, and 6 new small promo sets. Here is a picture of the 6 new sets. The (...)
