Re: Wanted: McD happy meal sets 7 and 8

(...) Also, I got a soda at McD's the other day (ok, could have been last night), and the cup was printed with advertising, proclaiming the TSII toys start on the 26th. Steve (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.promo)

Re: Wanted: McD happy meal sets 7 and 8

(...) Hmm, this doesn't sound right. AFAIK, McDs always switches promotions on Friday. And according to the HappyToy.com collectors' site, the next toy (Toy Story II) starts on the 26th. (...) It has been a good run, hasn't it? :^) But I will be (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.promo)

  Re: Finnair Promo?

Mike Walsh wrote in message ... (...) Following up my own post, Finnair's web site ((URL) lists something called the LEGO Comjet. No set number is given. Anyone know what this is? Mike - mike_walsh@mindspring.com (URL) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)

  Finnair Promo?

Does anyone know if Finnair has any in-flight promo sets available right now? I may be flying Finnair from London to Stockholm in a couple weeks. The promotional database shows Finnair offering 1818 back in 1996. Mike - mike_walsh@mindspring.com (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)

Re: Wanted: McD happy meal sets 7 and 8

It's supposed to go till Nov 30th, at least that's what Lego had in the catalog... I know a couple of stores that if they aren't out of sets, they will be pretty soon either way. I was hoping they'd last a little longer at least! Oh well.. I've got (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.promo)

Re: Wanted: McD happy meal sets 7 and 8

(...) Unless I'm mistaken, I believe that the promotion officially ends on Thanksgiving Thursday. But even so, most of the restaurants around here are already sold out of the LEGO and are resorting to left-over toys from other promos. --Raymond (...)   Re: 18" Ronald McDonald

(...) Nope. It's a neat idea, though. Unfortunately, I'm quite certain that preassembled=glued. I can't see as how any Lego fans would be too interested in that. James (URL) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)

  18" Ronald McDonald

Yesterday I was talking to a manager at one McDonalds who mentioned that you can actually *buy* the 18" high Ronald McDonald models that are one of the prizes. While as a prize it is valued as $25, to purchase it costs $55. It is preassembled. You (...) (25 years ago, 23-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)
