Interesting Aaron, at a video arcade in Ogden, Utah, these are the same sets
available as prizes for the arcade goers. The arcade guests can trade in
tickets for these sets.
I noticed that these are also some of the same sets available in the Wal-Mart
value pack.
Lego must have some sort of unique distribution or promotional arrangement for
these sets.
I must check out my local Texaco immediately.

| I was fueling up at my local Texaco/Favorite Market, went inside to pay and lo, there was a LEGO display with 4 sets for $4.99 each (cheaper with purchase? I did not ask!!!!) They appear to be boxed polybag sets, race car w/driver, RES-Q waverunner, (...) (25 years ago, 19-Nov-99, to lugnet.promo)
