Not really. The LEGO logo doesn't imply intellectual property rights on the
whole brick (which would include the likeness of the McCopyrighted character).
It could just be an odd occurrence -- the copyright notice in the mold was
damaged, so they removed it, instead of allowing the production of parts with
invalid copyright notices.
I'll keep checking these bricks as I get more of these sets. It will be
interesting (at least to one person on this planet) to see what variations there
are.
