(...) I'm not sure why 5 was skipped for the wide-hulled ships. In fact, as far as I can tell, Steve has never published the class-5 regular ship record sheet (nor has a class-8 wide record sheet ever been published to my knowledge). I suspect the (...) (18 years ago, 25-Oct-06, to lugnet.pirates)

| | Question about Ship Classes in Evil Stevie's Game
|
|
I've been preparing to run a session of Evil Stevie's Pirate Game, and I just realized that the ship classes are set up slightly oddly. For wide-hulled ships, the classes are 3 (no middle sections), 4 (1 middle), 6 (2 middles), 7 (3 middles), etc. (...) (18 years ago, 23-Oct-06, to lugnet.pirates)

Hey Jojo, These are great. I particularly like the sashes you made out of the plastic capes and rubberbands - it looks good and has functionality in giving a place to tuck swords and pistols. On the torso usage, I thought the Spider-Man Aunt May (...) (18 years ago, 23-Oct-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Ooh! Excellent set of minifig Pirates! Much more character than the official LEGO pirates, and like John, I am surprised how piratey they look without the obvious additions of wooden legs, hook hands, or even the skull & crossbones hat. And the (...) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Great work I really like these! The fence mounted horizontally as a ledge is also a great touch. I have long been a fan of the adventurer stomach torso for a pirate, but Aunt May's is really clever.... The backgrounds are also brilliant. I posted a (...) I love your use of the fence as a balcony. Great idea! Great model! And I also love (...) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

(...) -snip- (...) Great work, Jojo. And the "bottle of cocoa" is quite authentic for the period too! (Though it never achieved the same fame as rum). Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Richie Dulin (18 years ago, 17-Oct-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

(...) Hi Jojo, I think I'm in love with the rubber band and cape sash. I can see many uses outside pirates for that. You have definitely got me inspired to start building some pirate forces (once I get ahold of some capes) so I can arm a boat. Tim (18 years ago, 17-Oct-06, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)
