I'm not sure why 5 was skipped for the wide-hulled ships. In fact, as far as
I can tell, Steve has never published the class-5 regular ship record sheet
(nor has a class-8 wide record sheet ever been published to my knowledge).
I suspect the skip is that Steve felt the biggest ships needed to be one
class bigger.
