Hey all,

It's been a while since I came here. I am an all-around lego fan, but my
favorite series is the Pirates series. I saw Pirates of the Caribbean:The Curse
of the Black Pearl yesterday, and it was an AWESOME movie! I love pirate flicks
and I love action flicks and this one is both! Not to mention, it appeals to all
fans, not just pirate flick fans. The acting was great, the story, the setting,
the stunts.....EVERYTHING about that movie was phenominal! For lego builders,
sometimes it takes a cool movie like this to get some inspiration, and well it
reinspired me to build pirate models again.

Have any of you seen the movie, liked it, and got inspired by the movie to build
pirate models? Has anyone experimented with the tattered ghost ship full of
pirate zombies idea? Anyways, I hope this is my key to getting back into lego
(at 18 years old, LOL).

That movie rocked. Most scenes of that movie would be doable in Lego; The Eldorado fortress itself basically recreates the Pirates attacking the "imperials" at the beginning of the movie. (21 years ago, 10-Aug-03, to lugnet.pirates)
