I'm not familiar with it, but I'm sure most of the fabric stiffeners would
be fine! You may have to experiment with whether you want to dilute it or
not. In my case, I didn't like the amount of stiffness that the full
strength solution produced. It also depends on the type of material you
use. Some fabrics soak up the solution better than others. It helps to
experiment with some scrap pieces first.

You might find that you have better luck with a lighter weight cotton fabric
if you use the stiffener. I've used the canvas material and wasn't too
happy with the results. The weight of the fabric tends to make it sag
easier! Lighter fabric will hold it's shape better.

I found that a standard paper hold punch was too large a hole. I know they
make them smaller, but I had problems getting a paper punch to cut through
the fabric. If you can get it to work for you, then that's all that matters!

I think they would work just as well too. You might want to make a smaller
hole in the sail using that method. Like I said before, whatever works is
great! I encourage experimentation! Let us know how it all comes out!
