  Re: Misérable

(...) A very nice ship you have there. Those custom sails are fantastic. How historically accurate is having the wheel mid-deck like that? Good work, Jason +---...---+ Jason Spears MichLUG - (URL) MOCpage - (URL) (21 years ago, 18-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Misérable

It is finished! After many late nights I have put the final external touches on my 28 Gun Frigate, Misérable. Misérable is a worthy successor to my Light Frigate, Eponine II, but has moved the shipbuilding efforts of Port Brique to a higher level. (...)   Re: Spanish Armada

(...) Well, you're better off than me ... I don't even know how to defrag my computer :D (...) Sadly, Brickalicious has been gone for two years now. :( But was she a beauty ... 24 guns, and a complement of twenty-plus officers and crew, plus the (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Spanish Armada

*cough* *tugs collar* Well, the problem lies in my lack of a new web building program, and thus my inability to update that site at all. Last addition was that of the Riflemen a while back... well, anyway, I've just been able to get a new program (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Spanish Armada

Now I'm really sad my "Brickalicious" is no-more. I had quite a few more guns a side, and two foreward -- plus a complement of Her Majestry's Royal Marines aboard. Hey, Ken, tell ya' what: I'll rebuild the ship, and you and me'll go kick some (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Spanish Armada

Bah, your massive impressive squadron and land force doesn't frighten the Brickley's Cove Squadron of His Majesty's Royal Navy. We're in the *North* Atlantic : ) Excellent work there, Don! Have they an established port yet? Kenneth Tam (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Spanish Armada

To the British and French forces invading the waters of the Imperial Spanish. The Caribbean belongs to the Spanish. Continue to bicker among yourselves, but stay out of my waters. My fleet is well armed and well manned to destroy both at will. Do (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Islanders

(...) Enough to make a privateer up anchor and sail off... except for the 22 females, of course! The Islander king's flagship is pretty impressive - a two decker canoe! Very clever. Cheers Richie (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Cutters

Hey pirate fans, I finally finished the 9 cutters I have been working on. The pix are presented without crews to show the detail in construction. They are colorful. I used what bricks I had and could get. (URL) let me know what you think. Don (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Islanders

ok pirate fans, I finally caught pix of the King out with the boys on a float trip. Here are some pix of my Islanders out on the seas. There are 65 Islanders on these boats out of my 186 Islander minifig collection. I also have 22 females. Enjoy: (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: "Mieling" v1.5

Hi Nick, (...) Seems an improvement to me. The added color makes the shape come out more, making your ship more beautiful than it already was. A nice touch with the symbol embedded in the deck. Cheers, Twan. (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats)

Wow! That's SO cool. The background, the sea, the lighting... a true work of Lego art. What did you use for the sea and lighting? Do you have nay pictures of the setup?   Re: * the big naval battle *

Hi Nathan, the setup you look for was mine, at Legoworld 2002. I started with the idea that I wanted to see (for myself!), and show off to 38.000 people, for once ALL the Pirates sets ever made by Lego. I own them (plus a lot more...) but stacked (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.pirates)

(...) Hi, Nice! The sail shot is good (though I didn't notice it until your last post).
