  Re: Selling advice

(...) Individual sets. (...) Since these soldiers are part of the sets, my advice would be to sell them broken down into their sets. But.... If you were selling the soldiers without the sets, large lots of soldiers often do better per figure than (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Selling advice

(...) I would sell them individually. Smaller, more compact lots usually fetch higher bids on ebay, wheras larger, more expensive lots might turn away bidders due to the fact some people are on a budget, and hence, can only afford so much to (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Selling advice

How would you sell these? (URL) it is 2x 6274 and 2x 6276) As a complete lot, or as individual sets? Conventional wisdom says individual sets would probably fetch a greater total price. However, I wondered whether the attraction of being able to get (...) (22 years ago, 11-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

Hi all, I've posted a scan of the sails off of the small ship from Lego Pirate set "Imperial Trading Post" on Brickshelf! The scan was done with a graph paper background so you can get the exact size. The graph paper is divided into 10 squares per (...) (22 years ago, 4-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Trading Post Cutter Sails?

  Re: Trading Post Cutter Sails?

Hi Tom Thanks again for the scans. (...) I noticed that the colours on the sail motif are printed a little of. Is this normal on these sails? I may try to paint my sail motifs by hand. Has anyone tried printing onto sails? It's mentioned on Evil (...) (22 years ago, 4-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

Pirates Festival at Mission San Juan Capistrano

A couple of members from the SCLTC (Southern California LEGO Train Club), Dan Drew and Ray Silva, had a small Pirate-theme layout which was displayed at the Pirate Festival at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano, CA. It featured Dan's Mission Church (...) (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Trading Post Cutter Sails?

(...) Hi Guys, I'm sorry for the delay. I overlooked the postings. I will try to get the sails scan posted to Brickshelf on Sunday. For now, you can download the scan from this address: (URL) may try and do another scan for brickshelf and make it a (...) (22 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Trading Post Cutter Sails?

(...) Tom- I'd also very much appreciate a BrickShelf-available scan of the sails, so I can get the form factors right. I can't get such things via email, alas. best LFB (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Firing Canon?

(...) This of course only works for the older "disabled" canon. The newer US sets have single piece canon. Frank (22 years ago, 29-Oct-02, to lugnet.pirates)
