Hi everyone! I have been thinking about this. It seems like every main theme like Town, Castle, and Space have their extremely rare sets. I have not heard of a rare Pirate set. Is there a Pirate set that was in limited production or only available (...) (24 years ago, 6-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)

My first post: a question, and nostalgia :)

I just rebuilt my Black Seas Barracuda for the first time in probably 10 years! (thanks to Brickshelf for the instructions) Anyway, I was wondering if there's a place that has scans of the sails, since I'm missing those. :( I don't neccesarily need (...)   Re: Custom Pirate Fig site

(...) Look carefully at the edge of some of the coats - very thin. Probably paper or some kind of material. Others possibly could be plastic "clay" (Sculpey and the like). I'd guess a variety of techniques, but the picture quality and size is not (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Custom Pirate Fig site

Thanks for pointing those out Bruce. Some of the hats and vests had the same "shine" as the ABS. Do you think the creator did some plastic molding type of work? Those are some pretty incredible designs. Markus (...) (24 years ago, 5-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: How to make sales stick?

(...) If you don't mind having mixed color spars, or want to go with red ones, there are a bunch of the 1x4 plates with towball on Brickbay: (URL) that the 1x4 plate with rod hooking down is available in red in the Axe Cart. It is also available in (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.pirates)
