| (...) I am actually guessing this is NOT a firing cannon. There were a few early ones in the US that had the firing mechanism parts without the spring. In other words they were disabled. More recently those pieces have been removed and replaced with (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-00, to lugnet.pirates)

| Hello, and I apologize in advance if this is a really dumb thing to be asking, but... I recently got ahold of one of those firing cannons, with the black plunger thingie on the rear end and the long spike in the barrel and all.. however, I can't (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Thanks for the support Sean :-) However, I'm more than happy to entertain the idea of town pirates and steel hulls, as long as they float about on SHIPS - 12 and 16 wide hulls (why not wider ;-).
