Honestly, don't hold your breath waiting - they are going to put out the items
that they can sell in true bulk, and anything pirate-specific is going to be
way down the list.
But if they get around to it, minifig items would be the most likely to be in
high demand:
Fully-equiped Blue Soldiers (shako)
Fully-equiped Red Soldiers (shako)
Shako
Backpack
Muskets
Cutlasses
Pistols
Complete Cannon with small wheels
Bandana-hats
Morion helmet
Tricorn (black if only one color)
Chrome Breastplate
Bicorn (least likely to be needed in bulk)
epaulettes (at least yellow)
midsections (narrow and wide)
sails (difficult with so many different styles and specific printing)
plate w/ball for mounting sails
10-wide bow pieces (matching plates?)
6-wide bow pieces (matching plates?)
Masts
mast bases
string w/ one-stud rounds at the ends
chains w/ one-stud rounds at the ends
2x2 flags/cannon port covers (brasso those ninja flags if you're impatient)
These are all various bits and pieces I'm always on the lookout for. I suppose
front and back hulls, but I really don't need these in bulk and rarely buy them
as it is.
You can switch a lot of other minifig types into pirates if they have the
proper hat! Hats/helmets are one of the big things I collect at auctions,
along with basic weapons. I may only have 40 or so Armada figures, but I can
draft another 40 at need with my spare Morions. Complete minifigs in bulk
would do well, I bet, if logical ones were chosen.
Again, don't hold your breath waiting for any of this, much less in a wide
selection of colors.
